Gaiser Completes Ironman in Hawaii
The 50-year-old Columbia Falls principal finished 57th in his age group
Kalispell’s Scott Gaiser completed one of the most grueling endurance challenges in the world last weekend.

The 50-year-old Columbia Falls principal finished 57th in his age group and 1,019th overall at the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. Gaiser swam 2.4 miles, biked 112 miles and ran 26.2 miles in 11 hours, 12 minutes and 37 seconds. It was his fourth time competing in the world championship, but first since 2007.
