Ghostly Intruder and Threatening Kids

5:59 a.m. Someone on Solberg Drive heard an individual crunching in the snow outside their house, as if they were running away. Authorities found no footprints in the area.

9:11 a.m. A resident of Scenic Drive was alarmed to notice vehicle lights shining on a neighbor’s property.

10:15 a.m. A supposed gas thief in Columbia Falls actually had attempted to pay with a card at the pump.

11:13 a.m. A dog bit a horse in Columbia Falls. The reporting party suspects a neighbor’s pooch.

11:19 a.m. Tire tracks, footprints and a backpack were all left in a yard on Harmony Road.

11:42 a.m. Someone on Lore Lake Road was reportedly assaulted by an individual on a snowmobile.

12:11 p.m. A 16-year-old female subject ran away from home with a small dog in tow.

12:31 p.m. Someone on Good Medicine Drive received a strange phone call from an individual claiming to be with the fire department.

1:00 p.m. A 10-year-old boy was out of control at a local school. The matter will be handled by the boy’s parents.

2:12 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident called to report that an individual had used their information to purchase tires out of Miles City.

2:15 p.m. Two men argued verbally on Parliament Drive. The issue was resolved when one man left the premises.

2:33 p.m. Someone called to request a welfare check on a man and child who were hitchhiking on Highway 93 South. Authorities could not locate the subjects.

3:13 p.m. A driver in a large maroon truck apparently tried to run another motorist off of Farm to Market Road. The incident turned out to be part of a neighborhood dispute.

5:14 p.m. A Rottweiler chased and killed a deer on Dawson Trail.

5:42 p.m. Someone reports that their teenage daughter received a photo of her face on another individual’s naked body via cell phone.

8:59 p.m. A resident of Pioneer Road apparently purchased five tons of wood pellets but only received two tons.

9:37 p.m. A pickup truck pulled kids on sleds in Columbia Falls. The driver was advised that this is a dangerous practice.

9:40 p.m. A 15-month-old baby was taken to the hospital after drinking an unknown quantity of bleach.

9:44 p.m. Someone on Mustang Way has apparently been receiving threatening text messages from children.

10:38 p.m. An intoxicated man stumbled down the middle of Highway 2 West, heedless of oncoming traffic.

4:00 a.m. A man violated his restraining order and showed up at a home on Browns Meadow Road. The man was soon escorted to jail.
