Sometimes it pays to stay in school. Ben Menard, a student at Glacier High School, was one of 85 local high school students across the Flathead Valley to have perfect attendance during the 2011-2012 school year. Because of that, he won a new car from Green Nissan of Kalispell.
Menard was awarded a new 2012 Nissan Versa on Saturday, June 23, during the “Cool to Stay in School” event. If anything, the new car may be an incentive for students not to skip class next year.
