Glacier Honors Latest Wall of Fame Inductees

The latest inductees of Glacier High’s Wall of Fame will be honored Dec. 20.

The group of seven graduates will be inducted between the Polson and Flathead wrestling matches at roughly 6:30 p.m. at Glacier High.

To be considered for the school’s Wall of Fame, a student-athlete must earn either first team all-state in a sport, an individual state championship, all-northwest in music, or earn the Founders Degree in theatre. Nominees must also excel in academics and leadership roles on student council or a variety of clubs.

This year’s inductees are: Lexy Boschee, Sean Peters, Brittanie Dull, Josiah Bumgarner, Kendrick Lee, Luke Halliburton and Shane St. Onge.

Here are the bios of this year’s inductees from Glacier High School:

Sean Peters
Sean is the son of Roger and Dawn Peters. Sean earned first team All State honors in soccer and participated this past summer in the Shodair Soccer Classic. Sean also lettered in Basketball and received adademic all state. Sean is currently studying Pre-Med and just wrapped his first semester of school at Jamestown College.

Brittanie Dull
Brittanie is the daughter of Lisa and Cory Hill. Brittanie had an outstanding career at GHS by earning 10 letters in speech, theatre, choir, and track. She excelled in Speech and Debate where she was an individual state champion in duo-interp along with qualifying for nationals. She was integral member of the past 2 state championship Speech and Debate teams. Brittanie is currently attended Flathead Valley Community College.

Josiah Bumgarner
Josiah is the son of Ray and Wendy Bumgarner. Unfortunately, Josiah is still completing finals at Virginia Tech where is studying Biomedical Engineering. Josiah was the co-recipient of the coveted Alpha Student-Athlete Award that recognizes the top student athlete in our programs. His accomplishments at GHS include being named First Team All State in Soccer and played in the Shodair Classic. He also placed 4th at state in the pole vault. While at GHS Josiah received an impressive 13 letters in soccer, track, and choir. Josiah volunteered extensively in our community and at his church.

Kendrick Lee
Kendrick is the son of Matt and Jody Lee. Matt concluded an amazing run while singing in GHS choir. Kendrick received All State Choir two different times and was selected to the coveted All Northwest Choir. In addition, this past summer he participated as a member of the All National Choir. Kendrick was Academic All State and lettered in Golf and excelled as a baseball player in the legion program.

Lexy Boshee
Lexy is the daughter of Michelle and Jerry Boschee. Lexy capped an amazing career at GHS as top notch student, volleyball player, and track athlete. Lexy won a total of 6 individual track championships with four coming in the high jump from 2009-2012, one in the triple jump, and one as member of the 4×100 relay squad. Lexy also received first team all state recognition in volleyball in 2010 and 2009. Coaches also recognized her volleyball prowess the other 2 years that she competed. Lexy excelled in the hurdles along with the jumps by piling up a dozen medals at state track meets. Lexy worked as a leader in National Honor Society and the Wolfpack Club. Academic All State honors were garnered by Lexy during every season that she competed. The athletic and academic prowess that Lexy possessed earned her the Alpha Female Award for the most outstanding student athlete at GHS. She is currently competing in track at North Dakota State University while pursuing a degree in interior design.

Luke Halliburton
Luke is the son of Elizabeth and David Halliburton. Luke excelled in football as he received 1st Team All State as a defensive end during his senior year. He was also recognized by the conference for his talents during his junior season in football. Luke’ was a leader within the football program and served as president of the Wolfpack Club. In addition, Luke received superior ratings as the state choir festival. Luke is currently studying Health and Human Performance at Montana State University where is also playing football.

Shane St. Onge
Shane is the son of Kevin St. Onge and Angie St. Onge. While at Glacier, Shane became GHS’s second individual state champion in wrestling at 160 pounds during his senior season and Glacier’s first state team championship in wrestling Shane also placed 2nd, 4th, and 5th preceding his championship season. Shane graduated Summa Cum Laude and received merit distinction honors. He lettered in football, wrestling, and theatre. Shane also held a variety of leadership positions in Student Council, National Honor Society, and the Wolfpack Club. At the close of his senior year, Shane was the co-recipient of the coveted Alpha Student-Athlete Award that recognizes the top student athlete in our programs. Shane is currently studying prelaw at the University of Montana.
