Glacier Loses First Game at State

By Beacon Staff

In their first-ever state tournament game, the Glacier Wolfpack lost to Bozeman 80-58 in the first round of the State Class AA Boys Basketball Tournament on Thursday morning. Glacier entered the game as Western AA’s No. 2 seed, finishing the regular season with a 15-6 record, including a 10-3 conference mark. Bozeman is Eastern AA’s No. 3 seed.

With the loss, Glacier moves into the consolation bracket. The Wolfpack will play Missoula Sentinel at 9 a.m. on Friday morning. Sentinel, Western AA’s fourth seed, lost Thursday morning to top-ranked C.M. Russell 56-39. I will update the Wolfpack’s progress throughout the tourney, but you can also follow the games by clicking on this bracket.

The tournament is being held in Butte from Thursday through Saturday.
