Glacier National Park Waives Entry Fee on Sept. 26

By Beacon Staff

WEST GLACIER – Glacier National Park is waiving entrance fees for all visitors on Sept. 26 for National Public Lands Day.

The park is encouraging visitors to spend a few hours that day to help park staff with work like maintaining trails, removing noxious weeds and picking up litter.

While entrance fees will be waived for all visitors, other fees, like those for backcountry camping, will still be in effect.

This is the second year the park has hosted a National Public Lands Day event.
