Glacier Park-Area Residents Temporarily Lose 911 Service
Residents to call GNP dispatch in event of emergency
Residents of the area between West Glacier and East Glacier cannot currently call outside of their exchange, including calls to 911, due to a cut fiber optic line, according to the Flathead County Sheriff's Office.

The Glacier National Park dispatch has agreed to man their dispatch center until the line is repaired; in the event of an emergency, residents of the area can call Glacier National Park dispatch at 406-888-5561. GNP dispatch will then call Flathead County 911 and relay the request.

It is unknown when the line will be repaired.
