Grammy Award-Winning Singer Comes to the Flathead

By Beacon Staff

The Oregonian has written that Terry Barber is a “jewel in Chanticleer’s crown” and the San Jose Mercury News called him a “fresh, attractive, lyric voice.” Now the Grammy award-winning singer is coming to Kalispell on Oct. 23.

Barber has established himself on the world stage and has appeared at the Metropolitan Opera, New York City Opera, Spoleto Festival and Moscow’s Svetlanov Hall. He is known not just for his ability to sing classical pieces, but a wide variety of music. That success has led to an extensive recording career.

The Flathead Valley Concerts Association and Live On Stage, Inc. are producing the concert on Oct. 23 at Flathead High School at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students.
