Montana ties the Big Sky Conference record for consecutive league wins
MISSOULA — Kareem Jamar scored 18 points to lead Montana to its 13th straight victory and 24th in a row in Big Sky Conference play 73-63 over Northern Colorado on Thursday night.
Jamar also had eight rebounds and seven assists for Montana (17-4, 13-0 Big Sky). Mathias Ward had 14 points and Will Cherry 13.
Derrick Barden led Northern Colorado (6-15, 4-9) with 17 points and was matched by Tate Unruh. Barden also had three steals and Unruh had nine rebounds. Tevin Svihovec finished with 11 points.
Northern Colorado hit only a third of its shots from the floor, including just 6 of 25 from 3-point range.
