UPDATE: Two Highway 2 Head-on Crash Victims Identified
18-year-old man from Columbia Falls killed in crash
The Flathead County Sheriff's Office has identified the victims of a June 7 head-on crash as 18-year-old Mercy Peterson and 17-year-old Kayli Mercedes Wagoner. Both were from Columbia Falls.

Peterson was driving the southbound on U.S. Highway 2 in a Nissan Sentra when it crossed into the northbound lane and hit a minivan head on. Wagoner, his passenger, was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center where she died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The crash occurred on Highway 2 just south of Glacier Park International Airport, on Friday morning. Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

In response to the comment above on blocking calls…there are many more things that can cause/do wrecks:  bald tires is #2, mechanical problems, rock hits the windows, short yellow signals, tourist looking for a particular spot, deer impact or worse dodging deer is #3. #1…
