UPDATE: Two Highway 2 Head-on Crash Victims Identified

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victims of a June 7 head-on crash as 18-year-old Mercy Peterson and 17-year-old Kayli Mercedes Wagoner. Both were from Columbia Falls.

Peterson was driving the southbound on U.S. Highway 2 in a Nissan Sentra when it crossed into the northbound lane and hit a minivan head on. Wagoner, his passenger, was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center where she died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The crash occurred on Highway 2 just south of Glacier Park International Airport, on Friday morning. Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
