Hungry Dogs and Missing Cats

7:54 a.m. Two Kalispell women engaged in an argument over a saddle.

8:24 a.m. Someone called in concerned that the two boys he saw out riding their bikes were not in school. The boys told a deputy that they were on their way to school.

10:04 a.m. A Kalispell resident called 911 to report that kids often harass their dogs and smoke cigarettes in their driveway.

10:33 a.m. A Trumble Creek Road resident claimed that a middle-aged man dressed in beige was standing in his driveway reading a book. He claimed that the man “cursed out” his wife when she asked him to leave.

10:56 a.m. Reportedly, a man on Stoner Loop in Lakeside was hauling an infant around on his four-wheeler.

11:52 a.m. A Kalispell woman reported that another woman stole her purse and wedding ring worth $88. She then claimed she was not married, did not have a wedding ring, and was not in need of assistance.

1:17 p.m. Someone reported that a motorhome traveling down Highway 2 East was towing a five-gallon bucket behind it.

2:05 p.m. Someone saw what looked like a man on his knees praying in the middle of Highway 35 in Kalispell.

3:19 p.m. Reportedly, some abandoned and hungry dogs attacked numerous cats in the Hungry Horse area.

3:43 p.m. A Coram woman claimed that when she tried to return a loose dog to its owner, he advised her to shoot it.

7:06 p.m. An unattended 3-year-old was found playing with scissors in a Columbia Falls parking lot. He was reunited with his father when he was located inside a nearby store.

7:23 p.m. A man on Highway 35 in Kalispell complained that his soon-to-be ex-wife attempted to steal his tools.

7:44 p.m. A heavily intoxicated woman was given a ride home after irritating customers in a Lakeside restaurant and dropping things on the floor.

1:18 a.m. A Kalispell woman reported that her friend’s ex-boyfriend knocked on the door, then ran and slashed her tires.
