Believe it or not, as of Saturday the 15th, your first five year period of not being interrupted by telemarketers at dinnertime or at 7am on Saturday morning is over.
Unless you enjoy the calls of clueless telemarketers (there are smart ones too – just hard to find), pay another visit to http://www.donotcall.gov and re-register your phone numbers. Be sure to provide a valid, working email address and be sure to check it within 72 hours because you must confirm your desire to not be called by clicking on a link that the Do Not Call site will send you.
Keep in mind that non-profit organizations, politicians and businesses that already have a relationships with you are not restricted by this law.
