Flathead Valley Police Blotter
Joyful Destruction
Flathead County Sheriff's and Kalispell Police Reports
Tuesday 9/24/2013

9:39 a.m. Reportedly, numerous bow hunters in Marion have attempted to shoot a loose chocolate Lab.

11:02 a.m. A Lower Valley Road resident reported that someone had parked a beat-up and potentially stolen pickup in his driveway.

12:00 p.m. A Bigfork man claimed that his gun is gone and he knows who has it.

12:15 p.m. A Kalispell man reported that a “creep” with long dreadlocks joyfully hijacked his forklift and destroyed some drums. Apparently, when he was asked to leave, he only laughed and carried on with the destruction.

2:53 p.m. A gun accidentally discharged. No one was injured.

3:40 p.m. A Kalispell woman reported that her older daughter took her younger daughter’s Kindle, but later returned it.

5:14 p.m. A member of a traveling band reported that he was being held hostage by someone on Two Mile Drive. A deputy responded and discovered that this was not at all a hostage situation, but more of an issue over a vehicle.

6:31 p.m. A Bear Lane resident reported damage to their Canadian neighbor’s fence.

8:07 p.m. A Hungry Horse woman was afraid of her neighbor’s loose dogs.

9:36 p.m. Someone called from Lakeside claiming to see a red flashing light on a nearby mountain.

11:40 p.m. A bartender in Columbia Falls reported that an intoxicated man nailed a sign with his pickup on the way out of the parking lot.
