Kalispell Lakers to Hold Youth Instructional Camp, Golf Tournament and Social

The Kalispell Lakers American Legion Baseball Program is offering a baseball camp on Saturday, April 12, for 8- to 15-year-old boys and girls. The camp will run from noon to 4 p.m. at Lakers (Griffin) Field. The camp will cover all baseball fundamentals such as throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, and more. The camp fee is $40, which includes a T-shirt, pizza, and instruction of the fundamentals of the game from Lakers players and coaches.

The Kalispell Lakers are also holding their annual benefit golf tournament April 26 at Village Greens. The tournament format will be a best-ball, four-person scramble. The tournament includes range balls, team and hole prizes, including a $10,000 hole-in-one prize, a Calcutta, refreshments and a hot lunch.

Registration deadline is April 23.

New this year, the Kalispell Lakers will host an evening social at the Buffalo Hill Golf Club on April 25 in appreciation of golfers, fans and supporters of the legion baseball program. It will begin at 7 p.m. and will include hors d’oeuvres, a no-host bar and a live auction.
