Kalispell Police Searching for Stolen Wheelchair

The Kalispell Police Department is asking for information on a stolen wheelchair that was taken from an apartment complex parking lot on Tuesday.

According to KPD, the wheelchair was taken from the parking lot at the Elms Apartments, located at 330 Third Ave. W, on Jan. 28 some time between 2:15 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.

It is black, with an extra heavy-duty frame, and dark-colored wheel rims.

The wheelchair’s owner is “mobility-impaired, and in serious need of the wheelchair,” according to KPD.

Anyone with information on the stolen wheelchair is asked to contact KPD at 312 First Ave. E, or at 758-7780, or to call Crime Stoppers at 752-8477.
