The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an 18-year-old Kalispell man who apparently fell to his death off some cliffs north of Lakeside.
The victim’s friend found his body on Tuesday morning at the base of a cliff, and the body was recovered at about 12:30 p.m. His name is being withheld pending notification of his family.
According to the sheriff’s office, he had reportedly attended an underage party at the top of the cliffs on Monday night, and apparently fell 80 feet from the cliff.
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office will continue the investigation into the events surrounding the victim’s death.
