A 43-year-old Kalispell woman who police say stole more than $154,000 while working as a bookkeeper has pleaded not guilty to felony embezzlement.

Taira Desart made the plea Thursday in Flathead District Court.

Authorities say Desart embezzled the money from Jesco Marine and Power Sports, where she had been the company's bookkeeper for 17 years.
