Kalispell’s Osweiler Completes First NFL Pass in Broncos’ Win
Broncos giving Rocky Mountain fans first chance at playoff tickets
Flathead High graduate Brock Osweiler completed the first pass of his NFL career in the Broncos' regular-season finale on Sunday.

The Broncos' rookie quarterback out of Kalispell filled in late in the game as Peyton Manning's backup and completed 2-of-4 passes for 12 yards in Denver's 38-3 win over Kansas City.

It's a great year to be a Broncos fan in Montana. Under Manning, an MVP candidate, Denver (13-3) is a clear favorite in this year's playoffs after finishing the regular season on an 11-game winning streak.

UPDATE: The NFL organization announced today that it was rewarding Rocky Mountain fans by offering first dibs on playoff tickets. Tickets went on sale today at noon, but they were only available for residents in Montana, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota and western Kansas.

According to the Associated Press, it took only nine minutes for all of the 5,000 tickets to disappear once they went on sale. The team's 22,000 season ticket holders were given the first chance to buy tickets and all but 500 purchased some.

Denver secured the top seed and home field advantage for the playoffs. After a first-round bye, the Broncos will host a divisional playoff game on Jan. 12 at 2:30 p.m.
