Stray Dogs

7:55 a.m. A large, shaggy brown and white dog was spotted running through a trailer park and off into the trees.

9:12 a.m. The man who reported last Sunday that his windshield exploded while driving near Olney called in again claiming that he remembered seeing a suspicious man standing in the woods. He believes that man may have shot his window out.

9:26 a.m. A man on Coon Hollow Road in Kila reported that an aggressive pack of stray dogs were spotted near his house and he is now fearful of stepping outside to get his newspaper. Shortly after the call, seven dogs were impounded and taken to the shelter.

10:36 a.m. Someone reported that a red bike has been in a West Evergreen Drive ditch for three days.

10:59 a.m. Reportedly, a man on Highway 35 in Kalispell yelled at his vehicle and punched it a few times before getting in it and taking off.

11:34 a.m. Someone on Goat Trail in Whitefish called in to talk about panhandling.

3:16 p.m. An employee of a business on Highway 2 East wanted the people who were hanging out in the parking removed.

5:20 p.m. A pit bull wearing a bell around its neck was captured by a Columbia Falls resident and taken to the animal shelter.

5:42 p.m. A persistent woman followed her intoxicated and “mad” husband from Columbia Falls to a bar on Highway 2 East.

8:26 p.m. An elderly Kalispell resident called 911 requesting a deputy come help her push her difficult door open.

10:02 p.m. An employee at an Evergreen casino reported that an irritating and intoxicated man was stumbling around asking customers for “stuff.” At the time of the call he was in the parking lot yelling.
