Library Kicks Off Teen Summer Reading Program

The Flathead County Library's Teen Summer Reading Program kicks off today. All teens ages 11 to 17 can keep track of their time spent reading and earn prizes; teens completing the program will be entered for grand prizes that include a Flip video camera and gift certificates to Kalispell Center Mall.

Also this week: On Thursday, June 18, teens of the same age group are invited to take part in "Insane Origami," a workshop on creating wild and crazy origami art. The workshop will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the basement meeting room at the Main Library in Kalispell. No registration required; this workshop is free of cost.

Visit http://www.flatheadcountylibrary.org for more details, or visit your local library branch to sign up. Contact Martha Furman at 758-5713 or with questions.
