Local group serves up tennis repair proposals

By Beacon Staff

At next Monday’s (May 21, 2007) City Council meeting, the Columbia Falls Tennis Association (CFTA) will present proposals for a public-private refurb and maintenance project of the city tennis courts. City tennis players of all ages are being asked to appear at Monday’s meeting, hear what the CFTA presents to the council – and offer their own thoughts as well. The Columbia Falls High School tennis team had to move at least one match to Kalispell this season because the courts were simply too rough to hold a competitive tennis match on.

The Beacon will publish an update on this story next week.
