Man Charged in Chase That Led to Fatal Crash

A 23-year-old Pablo man has been charged with felony criminal endangerment for a car chase that led to a fatal crash.

Authorities say Mickey Wolf was pursuing 20-year-old Brice Adamson between Pablo and Polson at the time of Saturday evening's crash.

Lake County Sheriff's Detective Mike Sargeant says Wolf was charged because he created the dangerous situation that led to the crash.

The Montana Highway Patrol says Adamson was speeding when he lost control of his vehicle and went off the road. His vehicle rolled several times before landing upside down in an empty irrigation ditch. The patrol said Adamson was ejected and trapped under the vehicle.

Sergeant said Wolf told them he was chasing Adamson because Adamson had thrown a brick through his car window.
