Police Identify Man Found Dead in Ronan Parking Lot
Man struck and killed by a vehicle in a parking lot of a Ronan tavern
MISSOULA— Lake County officials have released the name of a 63-year-old Ronan man who died after being struck by a vehicle in a tavern parking lot.

Officers found Robert Van Gunten outside the Valley Club in Ronan at about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday after dispatchers received a 911 call about an unresponsive man lying in the parking lot.

Undersheriff Dan Yonkin says officers are still working to identify a suspect and vehicle that left the scene before officers arrived.
