A man is in critical condition and was flown to Seattle for medical care after a head-on vehicle collision on the U.S. Highway 93 Alternate Route in Kalispell on April 8.
A Subaru drifted into oncoming traffic on Monday afternoon and struck a pickup truck.
Highway Patrolman James Hawkins said the driver of the vehicle that drifted into the other lane is in critical condition and was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after being transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center following the incident. The driver of the other vehicle is in stable condition but was also transported to Seattle to receive care, Hawkins said.
The incident remains under investigation.
