Middle School Students Caught with Jell-O Shots, Suspended
Kalispell Middle School students were suspended and charged with being minors in possession
Five Kalispell Middle School students were suspended and charged with being minors in possession of alcohol for allegedly eating Jell-O shots and drinking alcohol at school.

Principal Barry Grace sent a letter to parents on Wednesday confirming the Jan. 12 incident. He told parents someone brought gelatin made with hard liquor and bottles of mixed drinks to school.

A member of the school staff was told about the spiked gelatin during lunch period and found students acting impaired. The staffer notified school administrators.

School Resource Officer Jason Parce says the students, ages 13 or 14, were charged in Youth Court.

The letter didn't say how long the students were suspended, but Parce says a typical punishment is five days out of class.

I’m surprised at your comment Red Green.  Do you really think we should allow middle school (ages 11-14 yrs) drink alcohol?
