Flathead Valley Police Blotter
Missing Ham and Exploding Eggs
Flathead County Sheriff's and Kalispell Police Reports
Sunday 3/31/2013

8:50 a.m. Someone reported that a woman habitually trespasses onto his property and uses it as a “playground.”

11:37 a.m. A man on Highway 35 in Kalispell called 911 to report that he couldn’t sleep because the neighbor kids were playing basketball outside. Additionally, he reported that his landlord “charged” his front door and “shoved it into” his head. He would like to press charges.

12:59 p.m. A woman on Eighth Avenue West reported that her Easter ham was stolen off of her porch sometime earlier that morning.

6:52 p.m. According to an employee of a store on Third Avenue East North, a camouflaged man on a bike ran into a pole in front of a store and fell to the ground. He then got up, put at least eight bundles of firewood into the baby carrier he was towing behind his bike, and rode off without paying. The employee assumed he was intoxicated.

8:42 p.m. An Olney woman reported that what she at first thought were gunshots may have actually been her Easter eggs exploding inside of her house.

11:18 p.m. Kids were seen smoking pot at a hotel off of Highway 93 South in Kalispell.

12:22 a.m. Someone reported seeing what may have been a human body near the dump in Somers. A deputy went out and removed what was actually a large piece of plastic.
