Mitchell, Barber Bring Home Wrestling Titles for Glacier
Glacier’s Kaleb Mitchell and Jackson Barber nabbed Class AA state championships
Glacier’s Kaleb Mitchell and Jackson Barber nabbed Class AA state championships with a pair of decisions inside Rimrock Arena.

Mitchell decisioned Seth Ehlang of Billings Skyview. 5-4, in the 140-pound finale. Barber decisioned Matt Dillon of Skyview, 5-2, in the 160-pound final.

Glacier’s Dawson Day earned third at 171 pounds and Lucas Mantel earned fourth place at 135 pounds. Flathead’s Suny Chef placed fourth at 145 pounds. Glacier’s Grant Tafoya defeated teammate Tanner Stupack for fifth place at 152 pounds. Cody Decker earned sixth at 119 pounds and Zach Dennehy was sixth at heavyweight.

Great Falls won its first team championship since 1999. The Rustlers scored 263.5 points. Skyview was runner-up with 246.5 and Missoula Sentinel earned third, 192.5. Glacier finished seventh, 153 points. Flathead was 13th with 34 points.
