Montana to Play South Dakota State in Playoffs

MISSOULA – The University of Montana will play South Dakota State at noon Saturday at Washington-Grizzly Stadium in Missoula in the first round of the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.

The playoff committee on Sunday also announced that Montana, 11-0, is the top seed in the playoffs.

Two other Big Sky Conference teams, Eastern Washington and Weber State, are also in the playoffs.

Montana is 6-0 all-time against South Dakota State, which is 8-3 this season.
