New Border Crossing Facility Opens in Northwest Montana
New facility replaces an outdated facility at the Del Bonita Port of Entry
DEL BONITA — U.S. Customs and Border Protection has opened a new facility at the Del Bonita Port of Entry in northwestern Montana on State Highway 213.

The agency announced on Friday the opening of the border crossing facility that operates during daytime only.

Great Falls Service Port Director Daniel Escobedo says the new port facility will enhance the agency's mission to keep borders secure. He says new technologies will also make crossing the border more efficient for legal travelers.

The agency says the new facility was paid for as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and replaces an outdated facility.
