Michelle Obama to Visit Billings

By Beacon Staff

BILLINGS – Presidential hopeful Barack Obama’s wife will campaign for her husband in Billings on Monday — a day before voters go to the polls in one of the nation’s last primaries.

It will be Michelle Obama’s first visit to Big Sky Country. Tickets to the morning event are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis to anyone who agrees to knock on 50 doors or make 100 phone calls in support of Barack Obama, who visited Great Falls on Friday.

The location and time of the event have not been determined, but tickets will be available at Barack Obama’s headquarters in Billings on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The state’s primary is the last in the nation along with South Dakota’s. At stake in Montana are 16 pledged delegates and eight superdelegates.
