Officials ID Man Killed in Crash Near Browning

BILLINGS – The Montana Highway Patrol has identified a 19-year-old man who died after the car he was driving hit a horse on U.S. Highway 89, just west of Browning.

The patrol tells The Billings Gazette that Luke Spearson of Browning died in the crash at about 1:20 a.m. Friday. His passenger, 29-year-old Ronnie Spearson, was hospitalized in Kalispell and was listed in critical condition over the weekend.

At about 3:30 a.m. Friday, a 29-year-old Browning woman died after being thrown from a sport utility vehicle in a crash on Secondary 358 near Cut Bank. Pondera Funeral Home says the victim was Lynn Dee Rosenberger.
