Oklahoma Man Traveling to Glacier Park Reported Missing
Cellphone was last used Tuesday afternoon near St. Mary's Lake in Lake County
MISSOULA — Montana authorities say an Oklahoma man has gone missing on his way to Glacier National Park to celebrate his recovery from cancer.

The Missoula County Sheriff's Office says Mark Bennett of Tulsa had been in daily contact with his brother in Oklahoma until last Thursday. Sheriff's Detective Jason Johnson tells the Missoulian that Bennett's cellphone was last used Tuesday afternoon near St. Mary's Lake in Lake County, south of the park.

Johnson says Bennett's brother is concerned because Bennett needs certain medications. His brother had planned to mail the medicine to Montana once Bennett gave him an address, but he never did.

Bennett is driving a 2006 white Chevrolet Silverado with Oklahoma license plate 591EUA and towing a small trailer. He is traveling with two dogs.

@NPDXReporter I think I'll start strategically calling it "pre-lunch" too, and then "forget" to eat my real lunch later. #dessertforlunch
