Oz Over the Years: Charting Osweiler’s Journey to the NFL

By Beacon Staff

Earlier this month the Flathead Beacon sent myself and photographer Greg Lindstrom to Denver to catch up with Brock Osweiler and find out how he’s settling into the world of professional football.

He was very welcoming and treated his hometown newspaper like an old friend, even though his life these days is extremely busy and Montana seems like a galaxy away in the bustle of it all. To be honest, it was amazing to see someone who only five years ago was throwing passes inside Legends Stadium and walking the halls of Flathead High to now be playing in the NFL and walking amongst the likes of Peyton Manning and John Elway.

The Beacon has followed Brock’s journey since his early high school days. To make the narrative more accessible I gathered a list of previous stories leading up to today. Here they are, including the latest from the field in Denver.
