The Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Monday included the following:
5:27 a.m. A drunken man called in to report that his girlfriend's 10-year-old son was beating him up. When deputies arrived they found that the drunk had actually punched the boy in his nose. He was arrested for assault on a minor.
7:09 a.m. A transient who lives under the bridge showed up at a gas station in Evergreen to cause problems.
9:27 a.m. A Bigfork woman called in to report that someone was shooting her house with a pellet gun. Deputies were unable to find any evidence of this ever happening.
12:50 a.m. A Whitefish woman called in to ask why someone would litter in her yard. Apparently, she found a piece of paper on her property.
1:53 p.m. A Martin City resident called in to report that a rampant dog tore through her fence and left its collar in the yard.
2:10 p.m. A Coram man called in to complain about his neighbor who tries to swerve and hit him with his car and flips him off.
4:59 p.m. Someone splattered a mailbox with paint balls and threw a fire cracker in it.
