Flathead County Sheriff’s reports: Police Blotter:  Don’t Talk Back To Granny and Public Displays of Affection

8:10 a.m. Hand tools and cash came up missing from several cars at the Flathead Yacht Club.

9:54 a.m. A woman suspected her home had been broken into, but when deputies investigated they didn’t find any evidence.

11:27 a.m. Someone in California called in to report that his pistol was stolen. The man said he declared the weapon in his luggage before he departed Glacier International Airport.

11:39 a.m. Someone on Rhodes Draw was greeted by a puppy at their doorstep.

12:44 p.m. A man who was disrespecting his grandmother was taken to jail.

1:47 p.m. A load of garbage was dropped directly in front of a bin at the Somers dumpsite.

2:51 p.m. An ill-at-ease hobo, who on several occasions has been asked to leave an Evergreen grocery store, was back. He was again asked to leave.

3:21 p.m. A caller said she’d like a deputy to talk to the driver of a car that had spit rocks at her car.

5:00 p.m. Three dogs were harassing some livestock on El Rancho Road.

5:09 p.m. A woman called in to report that she thought some kids near KM Ranch Road were going to accidentally catch the woods on fire.

5:34 p.m. An ex-girlfriend of a man in Hungry Horse keeps driving by his house and honking.

6:38 p.m. A red truck with Alberta license plates driving northbound on Hwy 93 was reportedly driving recklessly.

7:11 p.m. A Kalispell man who threatened to burn a woman’s possessions was jailed.

8:28 p.m. A woman in Hungry Horse called in to report that a sparkler bomb shook the ground.

8:36 p.m. Two men from Alberta were reportedly on top of the West Glacier Visitor Center building. When deputies arrived the men were gone.

8:56 p.m. A concerned citizen called in to report a couple on a bench engaging in some heavy petting.

10:07 p.m. Two white horses were seen running past the South Fork Saloon where they took a left hand turn and apparently went to their home on 1st Avenue and Fourth Street.

10:27 p.m. A man in Evergreen was setting off fireworks too close to his neighbor, so the neighbor assaulted him with a boat oar.

11:34 p.m. Someone in Martin City reported that a woman was screaming for help. After an extensive search the woman was found in her home. She had fallen and hurt her leg.
