Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports: Police Blotter: Farm to Market Painted Red and Snowbird Complaint

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Tuesday included the following:

6:15 a.m. A man called in and said his wife hit him over the head with a phone after he choked her.

9:42 a.m. There was a significant rockslide on U.S. Highway 2 near West Glacier.

11:45 a.m. Signs, rocks and a gate were spray-painted red on Farm to Market Road. Plus, numerous mailboxes were destroyed and a window was broken at nearby Bissell School. If you have any information on the vandalism please call the Sheriff's Department.

12:37 p.m. A woman who owns a home in Somers called from Sun City, Ariz., to complain about a contractor working on a home next to her Flathead home who keeps parking in her driveway. The contractor had spilled a little gravel on her driveway but said he had no problem cleaning it up and moving his vehicle.

9:03 p.m. Parents of an adult male called in because he had been drinking and taking pills for the last two days. They wanted their son, who still lives at home, gone and were afraid to ask him to leave. He was arrested by Columbia Falls police on an outstanding warrant.

9:25 p.m. A woman called in from Bigfork because she thought someone was in her car. Deputies checked out the car and there was no one in it.

The department responded to 120 calls for service.
