Police Blotter: Inmate vs. Door, Stolen Snow Tires

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Thursday included the following:

7:01 a.m. A Kila resident called in because he suspects his medication was stolen.

7:58 a.m. An out-of-control male inmate disturbed the peace of the detention center when he tried to beat up a metal door.

8:35 a.m. A woman who couldn’t sleep and hadn’t slept in four days was prescribed medication to help her do just that. However, while on the medication she was told not to drive. Someone called in because they saw her driving her car around.

9:35 a.m. Someone climbed up the KGEZ radio station and put up a Mexican flag.

10:40 a.m. An abusive 11-year-old Evergreen boy assaulted his teacher with a rolled up poster. Deputies responded and counseled the boy.

11:35 a.m. A racist spray-painted a vulgar word on the back of a Kalispell business.

3:22 p.m. Someone called in because they saw someone littering out of their truck on Fred Way.

4:50 p.m. Someone abandoned a bunch of dogs and kittens in a rental trailer. They were taken to the shelter.
Stolen

5:04 p.m. Two people were seen arguing at the Creston dump.

5:23 p.m. A man called in to say that he thinks his ex-wife might have taken his snow tires.

5:44 p.m. A woman and her friend found the door to her home on Shady Lane kicked in. Soon after the man who kicked it in came back, waved a gun around for a bit, then took off.

8:31 p.m. A 17-year-old received life threatening texts messages from two girls.

The departments responded to 161 calls for service.
