Police Blotter: Bad ATV Etiquette, Stolen Chevy

8:50 a.m. A man who came back to retrieve his belongings from his car after a motor vehicle accident reported $4,000 missing.

11:04 a.m. A woman in Somers called authorities because she thinks she may have pawned stolen items for a now deceased man.

2:46 p.m. An employee at a box store in Evergreen reported his bicycle stolen.

3:13 p.m. Someone on McMannamy Drive blocked in a driver who sprayed gravel on his car. Deputies counseled both parties and the situation was resolved.

5:20 p.m. Two males in Hungry Horse were seen throwing a traffic candle onto the road.

7:11 p.m. A man called in to report that his neighbor — the owner of seven or eight ATV’s — keeps spinning out in his lawn.

7:18 p.m. A man came into the Justice Center to report the theft of prescription drugs.

7:45 p.m. A 2008 Chevy Blazer was reported stolen from a local car dealership.

8:06 p.m. A German Shepard and Shih Tzu were reportedly roaming on Bison Drive in Kalispell.

8:33 p.m. Someone called in to report that they received a death threat via email. The recipient did not know the sender.

8:42 p.m. Someone called in to report a man lying on the grass near an underpass in Kalispell. The caller wasn’t sure whether the man was homeless or hurt. When deputies arrived the man refused medical attention.

10:07 p.m. A woman at a brewery in Lakeside was asked to leave after she harassed some customers.

10:12 p.m. Someone reported that kids at a box store in Evergreen were messing around with shopping carts.

11:27 p.m. A woman called in to report that her boyfriend had come home and hit her. The woman left the home with her children but refused to give her location to authorities.

The departments responded to 152 calls for service.
