The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Tuesday and Wednesday included the following:
11:33 a.m. Parents called in for backup because they couldn’t get their insubordinate 12-year-old to do their homework.
11:53 a.m. There was another out-of-control adolescent in Columbia Falls.
2:26 p.m. A female bar patron called in because her satchel was stolen from a bar in Kalispell last week.
2:29 p.m. Someone in Kalispell left their car unlocked and their camera was stolen.
6:23 p.m. A medium-sized cow moose was spotted eating bushes in a resident’s yard on Dawn Drive.
7:15 p.m. Bigfork Subway employees needed assistance getting an intoxicated person off the property.
4:07 a.m. An intoxicated man called in from a gas station to report that another man had just assaulted him. When deputies checked into the incident they found that the man that had called in was actually the assailant.
4:30 p.m. A heavy set white male in white T-shirt with short dark hair and red baseball cap pulled up to Sixth Avenue East near 11th Street and opened up his door and exposed himself to a Hedges student who was walking home. He was driving an older model white pickup truck with a white topper and a rusty snowplow. Hedges school principal, Casey Bertram (751-7780), would like parents to ensure that their children are not walking home alone after school. A similar incident occurred around Christmas.
