Police Blotter: Noisy Ice, Frying Pan Attack

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Sunday included the following:

12:50 a.m. Someone in Kalispell called in because they were suspicious of the noisy ice that was falling off their roof.

2:06 a.m. A Kalispell man was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center after he claimed some kids beat him up and broke his ribs.

6:36 a.m. A wayward dog was taken to the Columbia Falls animal shelter.

8:27 a.m. An intoxicated female called in to complain about her boyfriend. However, she refused to give any pertinent information about the situation. When the drunken man was confronted he said he had no idea why she had called in.

5:01 p.m. A Kalispell toddler ate some liquid soap. No medical attention was needed.

6:46 p.m. A resident from Whitefish called in to report that there were mountain lion tracks on their porch.

7:47 p.m. A Kalispell man called in because his wife whacked him on the head with a frying pan.

10:32 p.m. Someone called in about a party on Chevoit Loop. Deputies showed up and discovered minors with sodas in hand under adult supervision.

12:30 a.m. A bartender in Hungry Horse called in about a “strange” woman who was just sitting at the bar not drinking. When questioned, she told deputies she was just waiting for the roads to clear before she drove home.

12:56 a.m. A Kalispell woman called in to say that her husband slapped her hands. They were separated for the night.
