Flathead County Sheriff’s reports: Police Blotter: Snobby Sailor and Sweet Moves

2:41 a.m. An intoxicated woman was given a ride home from sheriff’s deputies after she was seen stumbling outside of an Evergreen bar.

3:14 a.m. There was report of a loud party in Kila.

3:26 a.m. A horse was saddled and ready to ride in Hungry Horse but no one was around to ride it. The jockey was eventually found.

3:27 a.m. Two calls were made about a person yelling and shooting a gun near Bison Drive.

6:07 a.m. The owner of some Birch trees called in to report a man that wanted to spray his trees for a disease.

10:20 a.m. Oil was dumped on the front of a fence of a salvage yard in Kalispell.

11:07 a.m. A sailor called authorities to inform them that there was an unwelcome guest at the yacht club. It turned out that the unwanted person was being paid to beautify the area – by picking weeds.

11:51 a.m. A person in Columbia Falls received three phone calls from someone looking for a man named “Hal.”

12:56 p.m. Someone called in to report a female screaming “help me” on Meadow Lake Drive. Deputies were unable to locate the female.

4:52 p.m. Cans were being thrown out of a tan vehicle.

5:52 p.m. A deputy yelled at people across the river near Leisure Island to ask them to stop shooting. They complied.

5:52 p.m. Prescription drugs were reported lost at an Evergreen bar.

5:55 p.m. All the doors were open on an old county squad car parked at the county shop. Deputies didn’t know why the doors were opened so they shut them.

6:27 p.m. A man on Springhill Road in Kila was spat on by a driver of a 4-wheeler.

6:53 p.m. A cooler containing a fishing pole and beverages was reported stolen at upper Whitefish Lake.

7:30 p.m. Someone tipped off authorities about a man wanted on a probation violation. The man was taken into custody.

8:53 p.m. Ten people witnessed a man hit a woman outside of an Evergreen bar. Three calls were made, but before authorities arrived the man took off in a silver Dodge.

9:53 p.m. A transient with headphones strung around his neck was playing a keyboard in the hallway at an Evergreen hotel. The bearded man then, reportedly: picked up a cookie, licked it, set it back down, winked at the clerk and made his exit.

11:49 p.m. Kids, who were rolling down the hill of Kalispell cemetery, were told to go home and stay out of the graveyard.

The departments responded to 118 calls for service.
