Polls Open for 2013 Municipal Election

Polling stations are open and voting is underway for the 2013 municipal elections.

The Beacon will be posting results from the elections online tonight.

Kalispell residents can vote at the Flathead County Fairgrounds Trade Center from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Click here for information about ward districts.

Columbia Falls residents can vote at City Hall from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Whitefish is holding a mail-in ballot election and residents must return their ballots by 8 p.m. Ballots can be dropped off at the Whitefish City Hall, 418 Second St., or at Flathead County Election Department in Kalispell, 800 S. Main St.

For more information about voting in Flathead County, visit the election department's website.

In Polson, residents can vote by mail-in ballot only. Ballots can be dropped off at the election office, 106 Fourth Ave. E., until 8 p.m.

In Lincoln County, there are several polling locations to vote. Click here to view the list. All precincts are open until 8 p.m.
