Polson Man Pleads Not Guilty in Stabbing Death

By Beacon Staff

POLSON – An 18-year-old Polson man has pleaded not guilty to stabbing his mother’s boyfriend to death during an argument.

KERR-AM reports Aaron Jess Spang appeared in District Court Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to deliberate homicide in the Nov. 27 death of 32-year-old Frank He Does It. Spang is also charged with criminal possession of dangerous drugs.

Court records say Spang and his mother had argued the night before about his allegedly growing marijuana in his bedroom and she wanted him to move out. Investigators say Spang sneaked back in the house through an open window the next morning and argued with He Does It. Court records allege Spang grabbed a butcher knife from the kitchen, struggled with the victim and stabbed him several times.

District Judge C.B. McNeil set Spang’s bail at $1 million and scheduled a trial for April 18.
