President of Salish Kootenai College Resigns
Luana Ross cited differences in vision between her and some members of the board of trustees
PABLO — The president of Salish Kootenai College has resigned and school officials say it could take six to nine months to find her replacement.

Luana Ross resigned on Oct. 12, citing differences in vision between her and some members of the board of trustees. She had served as president since July 2010.

Her resignation came less than a month after she and Board President Jim Durglo announced that grades had been inflated for 13 students in a one-credit lab class. The grades had been changed back and Ross said no one involved in the grade change still worked at the college.

The Missoulian reports Durglo declined to say what issues came between Ross and the board.

Ross said she planned to return teaching at the University of Washington.

No, I don't want to read mini-biographies of contributors to your magazine in the front of the book.

@djtabish You may have $10, but I have the fleeting hope that I'll be a millionaire without having to do any work for it. #lazy
