Presidential Visit
President Barack Obama will be visiting Bozeman on Aug. 14 to hold a town hall meeting at an airport hanger there, according to 4&20 blackbirds and KECI.
The Bozeman City Commission confirmed the visit at a meeting Tuesday evening. From KECI:
Obama made several visits to Montana during the Democratic presidential primaries and run-up to the general election last year in an attempt flip a state that traditionally votes Republican in presidential elections. He ended up losing the state to Sen. John McCain, 49 percent to 47 percent.

Although there's been no official word on what the town meeting will be about, President Obama may take that time to push his healthcare reform agenda. The President has been pushing Congress to come up with a reform bill as soon as possible.
