Road Rage and Driver Hits Pedestrian

7:34 a.m. A driver on East Reserve hit a 15-year-old and the boy cracked the vehicle’s windshield during the impact. The boy was suffering from a headache and was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

9:52 a.m. A guesthouse on Haskill Basin Road was fully engulfed in flames. The Whitefish Fire Department extinguished it in less than an hour. The fire was most likely started by a space heater.

10:30 a.m. A vehicle was broken into on Ash Road.

11:59 a.m. Animals were reportedly neglected on Rhodes Draw. The resident had 30 dogs and three horses. The animals were being taken care of and had food and water. The owner is working on obtaining a kennel license.

3:15 p.m. A window on Cougar Trail in Whitefish was shot out with a pellet gun.

5:02 p.m. Officers were unsuccessful serving a warrant on Kings Loop.

5:12 p.m. A woman in her 40s fell on 12th Street West.

5:34 p.m. A group of males were cutting firewood on North Fork Road and harassing the passers by.

5:41 p.m. A 41-year-old male was arrested on a warrant for aggravated assault. He was involved in an incident with his wife on Nov. 26.

5:52 p.m. Road rage on Willow Glen resulted in the occupants of one vehicle throwing glass bottles at the occupants of another.

6:23 p.m. There was possible drug activity at an Evergreen hardware store. The suspects were gone when officers arrived.

6:46 p.m. A woman had the quarter panel of her car kicked while at a Bigfork grocery store.

8:16 p.m. A 19-year-old was involved in a physical altercation. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance. He has been unwilling to file a report at this time.

8:28 p.m. There was a verbal disturbance between a father and a son on Highway 2. The juvenile was arrested on a warrant.

9:59 p.m. An unruly 9-year-old male was making suicide threats in Bigfork.

10:52 p.m. A vehicle slid off the road on South Fork Road. The driver was transported to North Valley hospital and will be arrested for drunken driving.

11:29 p.m. A 22-year-old woman was driving drunk with her child in the car. The child’s father reported her to authorities and she was arrested on a DUI and for criminal endangerment.
