Death of ElyJah Jerryn James has been ruled an accidental drowning
Missoula County officials have released the name of a 4-year-old boy who drowned Thursday night near Seeley Lake.

Sheriff's Capt. Josh Clark says the death of ElyJah Jerryn James has been ruled an accidental drowning.

The boy was found unconscious in a pond around 6 p.m. on Thursday.

Clark says "valiant life-saving efforts" were preformed, but James was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at a Missoula hospital.
