Severed Fingers and Remodeled Currency

10:41 a.m. A dog bit a mailman on the ankle in Somers. Fortunately, the bite barely broke the skin.

10:42 a.m. Two male subjects were seen messing around a trailer being pulled by an SUV on Foothill Road. The two were gone when authorities arrived.

11:27 a.m. A forklift caught fire on Brunner Road but was quickly extinguished.

11:29 a.m. A young man was bitten by the family dog in Marion. The dog has since been quarantined.

11:37 a.m. Apparently, a resident of Hungry Horse has been plowing snow into his neighbor’s yard. This thoroughly irritates the neighbor.

11:48 a.m. Someone cut off their fingers with a chainsaw. The individual and his fingers were promptly escorted to the hospital.

12:09 p.m. A small amount of paint came off of a county vehicle while going through a carwash.

1:36 p.m. Three counterfeit $20 bills turned up at an Evergreen box store. They were poorly done, having lived former lives as $5 bills.

1:48 p.m. A report of possible animal abuse on Ponderosa Lane turned out to be totally unfounded. The dog was well cared-for and merely whined because it wanted to play with the reporting party.

2:07 p.m. Someone on Valley View Court pushed snow onto a neighbor’s property. Their kids apparently also leave toys at the neighbor’s place.

4:00 p.m. Someone on Magstadt Lane plowed snow four feet onto a neighbor’s property, impeding access to the driveway.

4:08 p.m. Someone neglected to return a vehicle to a local car rental agency. The car is now listed as stolen.

4:32 p.m. A window was broken out of a car in Evergreen.

5:06 p.m. A resident of Yodelin Ridge was suspicious of a vehicle parked in front of their house. The individual turned out to be a realtor showing a nearby home.

5:15 p.m. Five or six horses ran about in traffic on Elk Park Road.

6:34 p.m. Vehicles traveling on Willow Glen Drive had to swerve around a dead deer in the northbound lane.

7:41 p.m. A 35-year-old female subject cut her finger on a piece of glass in Whitefish.

10:16 p.m. A resident of Ferndale Drive noticed a male subject walk across their yard and lie down next to the propane tank.

10:27 p.m. Someone on Spring Creek Drive noticed several parties get out of their vehicles, engage in what appeared to be a fight, and then leave.

1:14 a.m. A boyfriend and girlfriend argued in Hungry Horse. The disturbance was verbal only and both parties separated for the night.
