Publicist denies air rage story: Sharon Stone Allegedly Causes Stir on Kalispell Flight

The San Francisco Chronicle ran a story in their "Daily Dish" section yesterday, where Sharon Stone's publicist denied reports his client was involved in an air rage controversy in Utah over the weekend. Stone was evidently returning to Los Angeles from an Independence Day trip to see her father in Montana when she allegedly got into argument with a flight attendant over her luggage.

The actress allegedly took offense when she learned she had to have a bag checked against her will.

One fellow passenger on the flight from Kalispell, Mont., to Salt Lake City states, "She made a scene during the entire flight."

The actress' publicist insists the whole story is a misunderstanding.
