One of the men suspected to be involved in the burglary of at least six businesses in the Bigfork area is in custody, and the sheriff is still looking for the second suspect.

Sheriff Chuck Curry said Severin Gislason,18, from Kalispell was arrested and charged with seven felonies in relation to the burglaries. Flathead County Justice Court released Gislason on his own recognizance.

Curry also said an arrest warrant has been issued for the second suspect, Shane Christensen, 18, of Kalispell, but his current whereabouts are unknown.

The investigation into the crime spree is continuing with further crimes being uncovered and more possible charges.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating Christensen. Anyone with information on Christensen is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 758-5585, or Crimestoppers at 752-8477.
